Anna Sue Gasper Copeland, age 83, Amo, passed away Saturday morning at Avon Healthcare. She was born in Kentucky on April 11, 1938 the daughter of Willis Austin and Margie Ellen Garrett Tumblin. She had worked as a cook at the Amo Elementary School for a number of years and then as an officer at the Plainfield Correctional Facility. She is survived by her husband – Donald Eugene Copeland; Son – Doug Gasper and wife, Taunya; Son-in law – Mike Brown: Grandchildren – Michael Jason “Mikey” Brown and wife, Missy, John Thomas “JT” Brown and wife, Carrie, Toby Rupe and husband, Joe, Jesse Gasper and wife, Cory, Tiffany Whitaker and husband, Joe, and Samantha Hedrick and husband, Logan; Great-grandchildren – Zack Brown and wife, Alexia, Lexie Morris and husband, Michael, Jaylynn Brown, Zayne Brown, and Jessie Gilmore, Kylie Rupe, AJ Gasper, Bradlee Gasper, Gracie Gasper, Hunter Gasper, Kyleigh Gasper, Emma Gasper, Madeline Whitaker, Sophie Hedrick, and Lainie Hedrick ; Great-great grandchildren – Brenleigh Jo Brown, and Ryleigh Brown; Sisters – Minnie White, Geneva Kelso, Anna Mae Ferguson, Diana Wilhoite, and Linda White; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her Parents, 1st Husband – Earl Thomas “Tom” Gasper, Daughter – Debbie Brown, and a Brother – Bill Tomblin. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Amo Cemetery with Rev. Shelly Zook officiating. Visitation will be private family only.
