Oneita Rebecca “Becky” Sanders, Greencastle, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014. She was born in Noblesville, IN on August 19, 1951 the daughter of Willard Lee and Virginia Todd McCarty. She was a graduate of North Putnam High School and a member of Hadley Friends Church. She had worked in the Deli at Walmart, was lead cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken, and was a special needs teachers aid at Tzouanakis Elementary School all at Greencastle. She is survived by her Husband – James Sanders; Daughter – Patricia M. Crawford, Virginia Beach, VA; Sons – Jimmy Sanders, Noblesville, Daniel Sanders, Greencastle, and John McCarty, Jr., Coatesville; 9 grandchildren; Siblings – Loanna Welty, Bicknell, Dorothy Terrell, OH, Martha McCarty, John McCarty, Sr., Greencastle, Harriett Schaffer, NC, Nadine Fort, Greenfield, Charline Crouch, KY, and Michael Olee McCarty, Indianapolis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville with Pastor Karl Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Coatesville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM.
