Bennie Peterson of North Vernon, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020. He was the only son of Juanita Peterson, born on August 26, 1954. Bennie was a graduate of North Vernon High School. He was a volunteer with the Sheriff’s and Fire Departments. He worked in the Williams Factory and later retired from the Cummins Factory in Columbus. He is survived by his step-father, Henry Griffon, uncle, Harold Peterson and cousin, Rachelle Peterson. Bennie will be laid to rest in Vernon Cemetery.
