Betty Grew up in Brownsburg, and spent most of her life living at Heritage Lake with her husband and daughters, before moving to the farm in Bainbridge. She worked at Pioneer Village general store, and as a security officer at Heritage Lake, as well as a caregiver for Visiting Angels. Betty found her greatest happiness in loving and raising her great grandson Ryan Plessinger. He was her pride and joy and gave her life purpose. She will be best remembered for her love of the Lord, and sharing that with everyone she knew. She had a loving giving heart, and never met a stranger that she wasn't willing to help. She had a great love of all animals and enjoyed nurturing injured wild animals in her home. She gave her grandsons and nephews memories of a lifetime by spending much of her time with them as little boys out on the farm.
The Bush family has chosen cremation. Bousley Funeral Home has been entrusted with Betty's care.
A memorial service will be held February 25th from 2-4 at Lifespring Church in Bainbridge, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, Betty would have encouraged everyone to just always pay it forward in life to help others whenever given an opportunity.
