Betty Ruth Dixon, age 80, of Amo, IN, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 in her residence. Born April 30, 1932 in Decker Chapel, Indiana, she was the daughter of William Paul Chattin and Mamie Violet (Allen) Chattin. She married Ray Dixon and he survives. Betty was a Homemaker and a member of the Amo United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included playing the piano, reading, knitting, spoiling her grandchildren and going to her grandchildren’s sports events. Survivors in addition to her husband include 3 daughters, Sherry Kotter, Greenwood, Kathy Keller and husband Richard, Rockville, and Vicky Able, Greenwood; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren,; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and 3 brothers preceded her. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 to 11 AM in the Amo United Methodist Church. Services are Thursday at 11 Am in the church with Rev. Mike Torrance officiating. Burial will be Thursday at 2:45 PM in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes. The Bousley-Hays Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. www.bousleyhaysfuneralhome.com
