Beverly Doyne Arnold passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15, 2024, and is now joined in heaven with her husband Leon. Beverly was born November 7, 1932 to Eugene and Mary Huber in Floyd Township, where she grew up on the family farm, along with her sisters Phyllis and Gretna, whom have preceded her in death.
Beverly loved the Lord. A longtime member of Fillmore Christian Church, she was also involved in many other service roles: Worship leader, Christian Women’s Fellowship, Bible School, Youth Group, and Grand Classics Senior Group. Her faith was so evident in her life, as she gave of herself endlessly to family, and selflessly served the Lord through friends and community.
Beverly held boundless titles throughout her life. Known predominantly as “Mother” or “Mammaw” to those who loved her most, she was also a farmer’s wife, and worked with son, Greg at the Fillmore Grain Elevator.
Beverly had a gift for cooking and of hospitality. This fact was widely shown through holidays, serving sport teams, and hosting missionaries. She also served her community by volunteering at the Putnam County Hospital gift shop.
Beverly leaves behind 6 children, Greg (Sharla) Arnold, Carmen (Tom) Cash, Corliss (Kerry) Ames, Gordon (Kathy) Arnold, Charisse (David) Schuler and Celeste (John) Perry, 15 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
The family gives a special thank you to the caregivers at Mill Pond Health Campus and Asbury Towers.
Viewing will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Fillmore Christian Church, 102 N Main St, Fillmore, IN 46128, from 11- 1:00 with service to follow. Beverly will be laid to rest in the Canaan Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Fillmore Christian Church. Bousley Funeral Home has been entrusted with Beverly's care.
