Imla "Bill" William Cooper passed away on May 31, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1940 to Mary S. (Samuelson) and Victor Joseph Cooper in Hialeah, Florida. Bill worked as a union floor coverer. He and his wife Marilyn (Robinson) were married for almost 65 years. He lived a good simple life and was a happy man. He had a passion for fishing. Above all else, he loved his family.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn Cooper; children Kelly Cooper Peters and Kerry Dale Cooper; grandsons Kyle Bartley, Nick Cooper, Taylor Cooper and wife Brittany, and Adrian Peters; brother Sam Cooper and wife Carrol; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Mary Cooper; brother Don Cooper and sister-in-law Laura Cooper.

Bill chose to be cremated. His ashes will be buried in Fillmore Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Fillmore United Methodist Church. Bousley Funeral Home was entrusted with Bill's care.
