Cecil Dean Pierce, 81, Putnamville, Indiana went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, July 19, 2024.

Cecil was born on January 24, 1943, in Lewisville, Indiana to the late Arrow (York) Pierce and Millard Pierce.

He married his wife of 60 years, Janet Nichols, on February 1, 1964.

Cecil was a local carpenter in the Putnam County area for the majority of his life. He was a devoted Christian, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Surviving are his wife, Janet Pierce; his children, Lori Malik of Arizona, Kevin (Khristina) Pierce of Dallas, Troy (Diane) Pierce of Greencastle, Mandy (Chris) Cress of Camby, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Dale Pierce, Wanda Pierce Stevens, Barbara Pierce Bustle, and Stephen B. Pierce.

In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond E. Pierce, Frank A. Pierce, Leland E. Pierce, George W. Pierce, Ronald E. Pierce, Timothy A. Pierce; and sister Sarah (Beanie) Pierce Collins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bainbridge Community Building on Saturday, August 10, 2:00 p.m.
