Charles T. Croan, age 89, Fillmore, passed away Thursday afternoon at Mill Pond Health Campus. He was born in Indianapolis on February 5, 1929. He was married to Etta Ruth McNew Croan for 47 years and she preceded him on April 25, 2006. He had worked as a tool and die worker for Chrysler for 30 years. After retirement he moved to the country and became a farmer. He was a avid gardener, loved canning, and always loved to hunt for antique treasures. He could usually be found up early hunting at yard sales. Charles was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had served in the US Air Force. He is survived by his sons – Tom (Kelli) Croan, Fillmore, and Steve (Virginia) Croan, NC; daughter-in-law – Lynore Croan, Fillmore; 15 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, wife, and a son – Gary Croan. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville , with Pastor Dave Clayton officiating.
