Mrs. Cynthia A. Buchanan, age 53, of Greencastle, Indiana, at home and surrounded by her family, left this life and moved on to the next when she was called to be with her Lord on the 24th day of August, 2016. Cynthia was born March 18, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan to George and Carol Roulo. After graduating from Wayne Memorial High School in 1981, Cynthia spent several years enjoying being young and waiting for the Lord to show her where he wanted her to be. The Lord led Cynthia to settle down and start a family and on February 13, 1987 she married in Toledo, Ohio to the man she would spend the rest of her life with, in accordance to God's plan. Cynthia's interest included spending her time with her family and friends and working puzzles. However, what she loved the most was taking care of her family and home. She will always be remembered for the love and care that she gave to her husband and children. A good daughter, wife, mother, and friend, Cynthia always gave of herself for the benefit of others. Cynthia is survived by her husband of 29 years, Roy K. Buchanan Jr; sons, Ty Buchanan (Greencastle), Kyle Buchanan (Lagrange, IN), and Kenneth Buchanana (Lafayette, IN); Also suviving are her parents George and Carol (Frazier) Roulo (tayler, MI); Brothers George (Cindy) Roulo (Taylor, MI), and Fred Roulo (Wayne, MI); Other survivors include a grandfather, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and a very special sister-in-law Carla Buchanan (port Charlotte, FL), who, during the last days of Cynthia's life here on earth provided loving care, kindness and support to Cynthia that was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. Services will be held Monday, August 29th in the Bousley Funeral Home located at 4980 N. Milton St, Coatesville, IN 46121. Visitation will be from 11 Am until 2 PM in the funeral home with serives at 2 PM, Chaplain Steve Blaydes officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Stilesville Cemetery in Stilesville, IN. The Buchanan family would like to invite family and friends to gather at the conclusion of graveside services to celebrate Cynthia's life by sharing memories and fellowship. A light dinner will be served at the Coatesville Community Center located next to the funeral home at 4936 Milton St, Coatesville, IN 46121.
