Darren W. Hulett, age 51, of Coatesville, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019. Born November 15, 1967, he was the son of Mary Jackson Lillard and Darrell Hulett. He married Monica in 2016 and she survives.
Darren played guitar and sang vocals in bands varying from rock to punk around the Fort Wayne and Indianapolis areas. He was a Colts fan who loved football and fantasy football where he was once champion and last year was runner up. . During high school, Darren ran cross county, participated in the drama club, and played in the band. Darren loved his chickens. He also loved to fish and garden. Survivors include his wife Monica; step-children Hallie Young (Ethan) of Brazil, and William Chandler(fiancée Hope Brown), Clayton; 2 step siblings, Kimberly Williams, Indianapolis, and Susan Pope (Robert), Franklin; step-grandchildren, Jackson Waters, Kamden Young, and Bentley Young, Brazil; mother Mary Lillard (Don), Clayton; stepmother, Pat Hulett, Greenwood; sisters, Teresa Nelms, Mooresville, and Pamela Allee (Brian) Indianapolis; step siblings, William Lillard, Stilesville, Matthew Lillard (Sarah), Carmel, and Kimberly Powell (Mark) Risco, MO; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father and baby sister Lisa Hulett. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm in the Bousley Funeral Home and also Tuesday from 11 -12. Services are Tuesday at 12 with Pastor Rob Dugan officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Cemetery in Clayton, IN.
