David Bruce Mazur of Heritage Lake passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 79. He was born on October 11, 1944 to Catherine (Zak) and Stephen Mazur in Wheeling, West Virginia. David served during the Vietnam War in the Navy. After serving his country, David worked at Naval Avionics for 30 years. He loved to fish and garden. He was an especially good cook and shared his love of cooking with his three sons. He enjoyed doing his own grocery shopping and letting everyone know what was on sale each week. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

David is survived by his beloved wife Martha (Scheid) Mazur; sons David Jr. Mazur, Rob (Suzanne) Mazur, Richard “Bud” (Stacey) Mazur; grandchildren Zack and Elliott Fowler, Gwen (Alan) Skillern, Maddie Mazur, Ethan Mazur, Jack and Syrci Abbott; great grandchildren Natalie, Nicholas, and Beckham Fowler; brother Phillip (Becky) Mazur; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Catherine and Stephen Mazur.

Visitation will be held at the Grace Baptist Church, 8246 IN-75, Coatesville, IN 46121 on Thursday, October 19, 10AM-1PM with funeral service at 1PM. Pastor Bert Bunner will officiate. Services have been entrusted to Bousley Funeral Home. www.BousleyFuneralHome.com
