Donna Sue Carter, 80, formerly of Coatesville, passed away January 2, 2023 at Cumberland Trace in Plainfield.

Sue was born on July 1, 1942 to Lawrence "Diz" and Madge Dean. She was a 1960 graduate of Amo High School. Sue retired from First Merchants Bank in 2007.

She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, and playing cards. Sue was a a member of the Stilesville Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roger Carter in August of 1985. Survivors include her children Lisa (Mike) Toole and Brent Carter;3 grandchildren Emily (Chris) Harris, Abby (Dave) McAfee, and Quinn (Rebecca) Toole; 2 great grandchildren Colin and Audrey Harris; brothers Max (Paula) Dean, Thom (Diane) Dean, and Jeff Dean.

Services will be on Friday, January 6 at 12:00 noon, with visitation from 10 until the time of service at the Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville. Pastor Steve Ranson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Amo Cemetery.
