Dorothy Ann Runnells Perkins passed away on August 14, 2026. She was born in Indianapolis on April 7, 1940, to Kathleen (Purlee) and Alden McCloud. Dottie was an avid gardener. She loved to make flower beds and planted anything that would bloom. Unlike most of us, she hated TV. She preferred to read and dance to almost any kind of music. In her younger years she rode and showed horses. She developed close ties to her neighbors, but she most enjoyed spending time with her sisters and brothers.

Dottie leaves behind children Patty (Jerry) Fishel, Nancy (Eddie) Collier, Donna Smith, and Michael Runnells; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and even a few great-great grandchildren; siblings Judy Hadley and Gary McCloud; and companion Tom Underwood. She was preceded in death by her parents Alden and Kathleen McCloud; husbands Ray Runnells and Larry Perkins; and siblings Barbara Chambers and Ronny McCloud.

Visitation will be held at Bousley Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18, 12-2 PM, with funeral service at 2PM. Pastor Steve Ranson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Coatesville Cemetery. Dottie would prefer you all come dressed comfortably.
