Dorothy Ann Troke, George, Cline, Starks, AKA Dot, Mom, Grandma Dot passed away peacefully in Plainfield, Indiana on May 29, just 12 days shy of her 98th birthday. She had been a resident of Cumberland Trace for five years. Dot was born on June 10, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio, the first of four children born to the late Thomas Payne Troke and Gladys Rudd Trole. Besides her parents Dot was preceded in death by three husbands, two sons, Stephen William George, and Scott Russell George, a great grandson, Wyatt, sister, Virginia Mae Chew (Pat), brothers Robert, Bob Troke (wife Jan) and brother Paul, Sonny (wife Thelma). Dot is survived by three daughters, Sue Neier, (Noble), Coatesville, Sandy Baumgartner, Plainfield, Shar George, (Lori) Otterbein, two sons, Stan George, (Kathy) Southport, Shelley George, Danville. Fourteen grandkids, several Great and Great-Great Grandkids, nieces and nephews. The family will have a private graveside service on Saturday, June 6. Dot's nephew, Pastor Butch Troke, and her son, Shelley George, will be giving the eulogy. Dot will be laid to rest in the Amo Cemetery. The family have entrusted Bousley Funeral Home Coatesville, IN, with the arrangements.
