Dorothy June Hansell, age 81, of Fillmore, passed away Tuesday night in the Putnam County Hospital. Born February 10, 1932 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Augustus Kelley and Zora (Spears) Kelley. She married Hertis A. Hansell and he survives. Survivors include her husband; a son, David A. Hansell and wife Sherry, Fillmore; a granddaughter, Duston Rae Spencer and husband Ron, Fillmore; a grandson, David J. Hansell, Fillmore; a great granddaughter, Bronwyn Paige Spencer, Fillmore; a sister, Barbara Robinson, Reelsville; a special niece, Patricia Blanton, Brazil; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, a son Ray Hansell; siblings, Mildred Evans, Mitch Kelley, A.G. “George” Kelley, Maxine Fuller, Aileen Kolwaski and Virginia Derbyshire all preceded her in death. Dorothy had worked for 17 years as a Cashier for Krogers. She also worked 10 years as a Leasing Agent for Roundbarn manor and 2 years at Beltone. She was a member of the Greencastle Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. Her hobby was gardening. There will be a memorial service Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 5:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Greencastle.
