Durbin L. Yeager entered the Gates of Heaven surrounded by his family, very peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2017. He was born to Royce and Margaret (Masten) Yeager March 2, 1938 in Putnam County, IN. He is survived by his wife, Willa Dean (Parker) Yeager
of 58 years. He was the father of Christopher F. Yeager (deceased) and Alan M. Yeager (Abby) and grandsons Logan C. and Adam D. Yeager. Durbin was also survived by a brother Willis G. Yeager (Bette) of Pittsboro, IN, sisters Sharon Benge (Bob), Marcia Walker
and Margo Overton (Lennie) of Brownsburg, IN, brother-in-law Willis G. Parker (Linda) of Clayton, IN and several nieces and nephews.
Durbin was a member of the Coatesville Christian Church and attended New Maysville Community Church until his death.Durbin graduated from Amo High School in 1956 and was president of his class. He attended Culver Military Summer School where he was the president
of the Band Company in 1956. Durbin served two years in the U.S. Army. After discharge he joined his father in the oil business. After his father’s death, Durbin owned and operated Yeager Petroleum Company for many years. He later sold the business and went
to work with the Taylor Oil Company, Zionsville, IN. Durbin was a Boy Scout Master and was actively involved for many years with Troop #313 of Amo, IN sponsored by the First Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Bousley Funeral Home,
Coatesville, IN. Service will be Wednesday, January 11 at 11:00 with visitation one hour before and Tuesday, January 10 from 3:00 to 8:00. Rev. Larry Edwards officiating. Donations may be made to the Doris K. Parker Children’s Music Fund. Hendricks County
