James Everett Strahl passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 92. James was born in Hancock County, Indiana, January 15, 1932 to parents, Everett & Alta (Pyle) Strahl. James and Louise (Stephenson) graduated together from Amo High School, class of 1950. They were married on September 27, 1952 and enjoyed 71 years together. James served in the US Army from November 1952 to November 1954. He worked 30 years at Ford Motor Company, in Indianapolis, retiring in 1987.

They were the parents of Rose (Terry) Richard, Daryl (Barb) Strahl, Nina (Gary) Tatlock, and Lana (Jack) Albright. They were the proud grandparents of 8, the great grandparents of 14, and the great great grandparents of one.

James is survived by his brother Bill Strahl.

James was preceded in death by his wife Louise, parents Everett & Alta Strahl, son Philip Dean, brothers Virgle and Max Strahl, sisters Virginia Bray and Mary Jane Campbell.

Funeral service will be held at the Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville on Monday, March 11 at 2PM. Visitation will be that same day from 11AM until the time of service. Burial at Amo Cemetery will follow.
