Jerry Ray Gipson, age 49, Clayton, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. He was born in Indianapolis, In on September 1, 1963 the son of Harlan and Carol Mitchell Gipson. He was a 1981 graduate of Plainfield High School and received a associate degree from
Ivy Tech. He worked in computor support and as a analyst for CompuCom working under contract to Rolls Royce. He was member of the Amo United Methodist Church.
Survivors: Wife – Doris Webb Gipson; Children – Nicholas, Zachary, and Jeremy Gipson, Tabatha and Chanceleor Webb, and Julie Edwards, all at home; Father – Harlan Gipson, Sister – Debra Marlow, and Brother – Tony Gipson, all of Plainfield. He was preceded in
death by his mother. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Amo United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Torrance officiating. Calling will be at the church from 11:00 AM until time of service. There will be a Memorial
Dinner immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a College Memorial Fund for Jerry’s children c/o First National Bank. Arrangements are being handled by Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville.
