Linda Jean Pacey passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023, at the age of 72 in Southaven, Mississippi.
She was born on March 8, 1951, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Floyd and Juanita (Deitz) Thompson. Linda was a free spirit who celebrated and respected all religions and beliefs. She was a highly intelligent and avid reader with a passion for knowledge. She was a wonderful Mother, Wife, and Grandmother. Linda graduated from Monrovia High School in 1969. She attended Indiana University. Linda went on to work at RCA where she met Bill. The two were married September 4, 1971 and resided in Bloomington until 1999. Bill’s work transferred them to El Paso, Texas and then to Memphis, Tennessee.
Linda leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, William Pacey; two sons Bryan Allan (Lynsi Ernst) Pacey & Jason Phillip (Lindsey Mensch) Pacey; grandson; Colton Joel William Pacey; four siblings Karen Beam, Norm Thompson, Lora Butler, and Karol Thompson; out-laws Dale Beam, Katherine Thompson, and William “Sandy” Butler; nieces and nephews Korey (Jason) Bousley, Matt (Allyson) Beam, Kelsey (Tony) Rizzi, Amy (Doug) Powlen, Sara Butler, Adam Butler, Ashley (Adam) Arnold, and Erin (David) Larrison; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Juanita Thompson.
A celebration of life will be held at Karen and Dale Beam’s house, 13137 Tower Court, Camby, IN 46113, on Saturday, July 1st from 2 to 4.
