Mark Alan Whitis of Coatesville passed away on November 4, 2024. He was born on October 11, 1955 to Edwina Whitis and John Baker in Bedford, Indiana. Mark leaves behind his daughters Christy (Eric)Tucker of Summersville, WV and Amy (Josh) Chastain of Coatesville; grandchildren Ethan, Aubrey, and Gabriel; and sister Jennifer (Mitch) Gibboney of Mooresville. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwina Whitis and John Baker; adoptive father Raymond Whitis; his wife Brenda Whitis; and sister Diana.

Mark was a man of great artistic ability. He was an amazingly talented painter who set the standard in any body shop he was in. Not only did he paint for Indy Car/Formula 1 teams, he also helped fabricate. He enjoyed racing and was a music junkie who played guitar. Mark was a man of many talents and was loved by many. Had a great sense of humor and will forever be missed.
