Michael Hubble, of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, February 18th surrounded by his family. He was born April 2, 1954 to John Hubble and Evelyn Hubbard. Although he was never successful at setting up his voicemail, he did find much success in the woods on opening day and every time he got his fishing pole out. Mike learned to hunt and fish at a young age and found pride in passing down his tips and tricks to his nieces, nephews and friends. The only time his advice was wrong was when he said you can’t talk if you want to catch fish!
Mike loved growing up on a farm and wanted a career that revolved around agriculture. He became a chemical/fertilizer specialist and passionately served our local farmers for forty five years before retiring.
His list of passions are lengthy, as he truly enjoyed music, playing his guitar and gardening. Above all, Mike loved his animals, his family and his country. He found great pleasure in serving others and helping in their time of need. He lived his life quietly but loved fiercely. His compassion and humor will be the things his family and friends will miss the most.
Mike is survived by his brother Tim Hubble (Sheila), sister Jill Richard (Bill), nieces (Jenny, Teona, Amy, Tosha and Tonya), nephews (Sam, Dave, Brandon and Timmy), several great nieces and nephews, his “fur” son Prince and lifelong friend/hunting partner Dave.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister Brenda Whitis, sister Lindy Wingler and great nephew Kolton Byrd.
Visitation will be held at Bousley Funeral Home on Monday, February 24 from 11:00am-1:00pm. Funeral service will begin at 1:00pm followed by Burial at the Coatesville Cemetery.
