Paul William “Bill” Boller, 88 years of age, resided in New Winchester, In, passed away Saturday night June 29, 2013 at 10:59pm in his home. Born February 25, 1925 in Cass Country, Indiana. Bill the eldest son of Elijah Matthew Boller and Afton Irene (Taylor)
Boller, is survived by sister Viola Cox of Greencastle and brother Ray Boller of Bainbridge. He was preceded by brothers Charles Boller, Elijah Boller, Wayne Boller and sister Betty Williams. He wed Helen Virginia Lanham on December 22, 1947 and she survives
him. Bill, a caretaker of God’s majesty, farmed from the sixth grade until last year when he could no longer climb into his tractor. His life’s work was the earth and he took his last breath looking at his crops. In the earlier years Bill raised hogs and cattle,
caring for the animals was another passion. He spent many hours making sure the crops were thriving and the animals were tended.
His children, grand children and great grand children were his pride and joy. Bill and Helen loved having Sunday and holiday dinners where all were welcome. As the family grew, the time spent together was much more important to him.
Due to health issues Helen was no longer able to reside at home, he waited to take his last breath until his wife of 66 years was at his side. Bill’s legacy lives on with his children. Billie Hendricks and husband Steve of Danville; John Boller and Melanie Broadstreet of Coatesville; Donald Boller and his wife Lynn of Coatesville; Jacquelene Woodrum and Luther Murray of Roachdale; and Carol Sue Boyer and her husband Bill of Lizton. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great-great grand child on the way.
He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM in the funeral home and services will be Wednesday at 11 am in the funeral home with Pastor Harlan Kincade officiating. Burial will follow in the New Winchester Cemetery.
