Russell Thomas Bush, age 46, of Coatesville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly August 29, 2023 in his residence at Heritage Lake. Born June 1, 1977 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Larry Dean Bush and Marta L. McFarling.

Russell was naturally athletic, played baseball while in school and was a passionate basketball and football fan. He spent his youth at Heritage Lake, swimming and riding jet skis with friends in the summer, enjoying regular visits from his aunts and uncles. He graduated from North Putnam High School and moved to Indianapolis to work as a warehouseman and driver. As an adult, he was blessed with four children whom he loved dearly. Russell was charming, intelligent, and witty, making people laugh wherever he went, but most importantly he had a soft heart and loving nature and a sincere belief and faith in Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Donald P. McFarling and Linda McFarling, Lee Bush and Gladys Bush; his father Larry Dean Bush; his fiancée, Breanna Miethe.

Surviving to cherish their memories of Russell are his mother, Marta McFarling; children, Brevin Bush, Dylan Bush, Sophia Bush and Audrey Bush; brother John Elliott Bush (Peggy); brother Larry Dean Bush, Jr (Jennifer); several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville, Indiana. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
