Tommy Wayne Childress of Greencastle passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024. He was born on April 16, 1953 to Ann Childress. Tommy worked as a garage door installer. His close friends nicknamed him “Chili Dog.” He loved AC/DC and picking on his guitar. He was known to take his grandkids fishing and camping every chance he got.

Tommy is survived by his wife Candice (Partin) Childress; children Danean, Nicki (Melody), and Lance (Yvone); grandchildren Mika, Shyonna, Mariah, Karmen, Ameliana, Drexel, Jerzi, Gryer, Zayvin, Amirrah, and Carson; and great grandchildren Addison, Aiden, Preston, Mason, Brentley, Kyson, Haisleigh, Everett; brothers John and Mark; and sister Pat. He was preceded in death by his mother Ann; grandson Harlem; brothers Jim, Bud, and Larry; and sister Caroline.

Visitation will be held at the Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville on Friday, January 19 from 10 AM to 12 PM with service at 12 PM that day. Pastor Nathan Couch will officiate. Cremation will follow.
