Alice M. Pugh, age 97, Avon, formerly of Amo, passed away Sunday morning. She was born on May 27, 1923 in Reeve, WI the daughter of Harry Oris and Merle Carruth Repp. She married Alton Pugh and he preceded her in death. Alice was a homemaker and mother and was a member of the Avon Faith Baptist Church. She had volunteered at Hendricks Regional Health for 25 years and had been the Amo Town Clerk for a short period of time. She is survived by her children – Maureen Jackson, Amo, Darrell Pugh, CA., Ginny Spillman, Indianapolis, and Suzy Robinson, Sherman, TX., 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren, sister – Arlene Didier, MN, brother – Gene Repp, AL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, husband, brothers – Norman and Lawrence Repp, and sons-in-law – Carl Jackson and Jerry Robinson. Private family services will be held and entombment will be in Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis. There will be a celebration of life at a time to be determined. The family has requested that donations be made to the Amo Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 112, Amo, IN 46103.
