Alice Marie Wolfe, age 89, North Salem, passed away Saturday morning at Hendricks Regional Health. She was born in Anderson, IN on September 5, 1928 the daughter of Alva "Alvie" B. and Alma W. Waugh Washer. She was a homemaker who loved to sew, embroidery, crochet, bake pies, and can vegetables from the garden. In her early adulthood she worked at Garner-Denver and Swift & Company. She was an avid reader and loved the color purple. Alice loved the Lord and was a member of the Coatesville United Methodist Church and Joyce Chapel in Alexandria. She is survived by her husband – Robert F. Wolfe; Children – Curtis (Diane) Wolfe, Marla-Ann (Samuel Scott) Cooprider, Bruce (Angie) Wolfe, James Wolfe, Valerie (Bob) Conner, and Muriel (Chris) Coston; Grandchildren – Eric Wolfe, Jenny (Aaron) Brown, Chris Wolfe, Laura (Wes) Wilson, Michael (Shelby) Cooprider, Kayla Coston, Kelly Coston, Michael Conner, and Caleb (Leah) Murray; Great-grandchildren – Lydia and Alexis “Lexi” Brown. Her Parents, half-brother – Gerald Otto “Bill” Hensley, and half-sister – Garnett W. Burton, preceded her in death. Viewing: Tuesday Sep. 12th from 4:00pm to 7:30pm at Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville, IN followed by a brief time of sharing. Graveside services: Wednesday Sep. 13th at 1:00pm at Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coatesville United Methodist Church or the American Diabetes Association.
