A. Hazel Travelsted, age 88, of Amo, passed away May 9, 2013 in the Avon Village Nursing facility. Born January 6, 1925 in Allen County, KY, she was the daughter of Jessie Cassada and Bernice (Ogden) Cassada. She married Hoy Travelsted on December 19, 1941 and he preceded her on September 12, 1988. Hazel was a homemaker. She was affiliated with the Amo Baptist Church. She loved quilting and was a devoted mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held Monday from 4 to 8 PM and services will be Tuesday at 11 am with Pastor Shelly Zook officiating. Burial will follow in the Amo Cemetery.
