Cora E. Thomas of Coatesville passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born in Mooresville, Indiana on January 7, 1945 to Maggie (Gadient) and Raymond Orebaugh. Cora was a homemaker and worked in the Kroger Deli for 12 years. She was proud to be known as "The Chicken Lady".

Survivors include her daughter Barbara Thomas of Plainfield; grandson Dakotah (Emilie) Thomas of Shelbyville; great grandsons Ayden and Grayson Thomas; sister Thelma Hale of Marion County; and several nieces and nephews.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents Maggie & Raymond Orebaugh; husband Lewis Thomas; sisters Betty Ann (Merrill) Fulmer, Vivan Manuel, Joann Oaks, Sophia Blunk; brothers George Orebaugh, Bud Orebaugh, and Junie Orebaugh.

Cora chose cremation and there will be no services.
