David D. Miller, age 78, Coatesville, passed away Sunday morning at his residence. He was born in Amo, IN on July 16, 1940 the son of William Cleo and Lois Irene Fisher Miller. He was a 1958 graduate of Amo High School. He married Darlene Phillips on December 19, 1959. He had worked as a machinist and then a manager in customer service at IBM in Greencastle. He had also been a farmer raising pigs, Belgian horses, and cattle. Dave and his wife also worked as drivers for the Amish for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 59 years – Darlene Miller; Son – David B. (Kellie) Miller, Coatesville and a daughter – Darla (Kenny) Davidson, Coatesville; Grandsons – Matt (Lindsay) Miller, Tyler (Ashley) Miller, Nick Miller, and Jesse Davidson; Great-grandchildren – Grayson and Harper Miller, Presley Miller; Sisters – Ann (Rose) Miller, Amo, and Jane (Pat) Fultz, Coatesville; Uncles – Bud (Mary Lou) Fisher, Dale Miller, and Max (Macel) Miller, Sister-in-laws – Linda West, Ronda (Tom) Heckel, Kathy Kunkel, and Terri Guthrie; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville, with Pastor Danny Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Hadley Cemetery.
