Frank Trickey, age 93, Coateville, passed away Sunday afternoon at his residence. Born April 24, 1924 in Rhinelander, WI, he was the son of Arthur Trickey and Alvina (Alsteens) Trickey. He married his wife of 69 years, Ardeth Niemuth and she survives. Frank had worked as an operating Engineer on the roads in Michigan for years. He also was a logger.He also had served in the Army during WWII. His passion was guitar playing and he was a master at it playing with several bands and also teaching lessons.Survivors in addition to his wife include children, Greg Trickey, Rhinelander, WI, Shirley Holbrook, Bloomington, TX, Jeff Trickey, Rhinelander, WI, and Carol Shockey, Waterford, MI; 31 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and a sister Jean Ranker, Port LaVaca, TX. His parents, a daughter Kathy Zorn,siblings, John Trickey, Blanche Norton, Edward "Buck" Trickey, John Trickey, George Trickey and Art Trickey, and a grandson Bradly Canter preceded him. Memorial services are scheduled for Friday at 6 pm in the funeral home. Visitation will be from 5 to 6. Cremation is scheduled.
