Harrison "Harry" C. Obenchain passed away at the Life's Journey of Avon on August 16, 2022. He was the son of Hargo and Margaret (Jensen) Obenchain. Harry was born on June 12, 1932 at home in Mishawaka, Indiana. He worked various positions at the phone company. He was an avid golfer, spent countless hours restoring cars, and loved to go house boating. One of his greatest joys was picking on his grandkids.

Harry is survived by his children Sondra Swede (Jordy Lawson) of Danville, Brenda (Stephen) Audritsh of Carmel, Dennis Obenchain of Crawfordsville, and Linda (David) Wilborn of Bainbridge; grandchildren Robert Biehn, Christopher Biehn, John Paul Biehn, John Andrew Plahitko, Jennifer Allison, Daniel Obenchain, Sara Obenchain, Jessie Hoskins, Danielle Hinds, and Ellen Wilborn; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents; his beloved wife Sue (Newton) Obenchain; and brother John Obenchain.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 23 from 11-1 at the Antioch Baptist Church, 3988 S Co Rd 300 W, Greencastle with funeral service at 1PM. Burial will take place Thursday, August 25 at 1PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in Osceola, Indiana. Pastor Mark Smith will officiate. Services have been entrusted to Bousley Funeral Home.
