Janice L. Summerlot passed away at The Waters of Greencastle on July 1, 2023. She was born August 4, 1943 to Martha Jane (Quick) and Lloyd Leonard in Owen County. Janice was a homemaker and worked at Walmart for 25 years. She loved to read and color with her grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her children Duane (Kathy) Summerlot of Coatesville, Dana (companion Vince) Northern of Colfax, Dennis (Deborah) Summerlot of Fillmore, Jena (David) Barnett of Roachdale, and Kari Summerlot of Cloverdale; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sister Joyce (Mike) Young of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Dallas Summerlot, parents Martha and Lloyd Leonard; brother Stanley Leonard; and sisters Linda Foss and Jackie Leonard.

Private family services will be held.
