Merold Dean Weatherman, age 80, Avon, passed away June 22, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Clinton, IN on July 22, 1932 the son of Harold and Ena Vandevoir Weatherman. He had been a farmer and had worked for Insley Manufacturing, REA Express, and for the State of Indiana FSSA. He was a member of the Amo United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club. He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Lewis Weatherman; Sons – Terry Weatherman and wife, Heather, Plainfield, Tim Weatherman and wife, Janet, Greencastle, and Tom Weatherman and wife, Lauri, Camby; Grandchildren – Ryan, Rachel, Jeremy, and Brandon; Brother – Woody Weatherman and wife, Judy, Clayton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Amo United Methodist Church with Rev. Ray Dixon officiating. Calling will be at the church on Thursday from 10 AM to time of service. Burial to follow in Coatesville Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Amo United Methodist Church.
