Nancy Sue Clarke, 58, of New Winchester passed away peacefully Sunday morning at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis after a short bout with cancer.
She was born on January 18, 1960, in Indianapolis, the oldest child of Thomas and Judy Little. She was a graduate of North Putnam High School in Roachdale, Indiana.
Nancy and her husband, Dave, have been business owners in Coatesville for more than 20 years. After working as a seamstress and doing craft shows for many years, Nancy Sue opened Sue’s Custom Sewing, Crafts, & Ceramics where she enjoyed sewing, creating ceramics and crafts, and teaching art classes for children. For the past ten years, she and Dave have been the owners of Still Here Liquors where they have enjoyed creating friendships with many people in the community.
Nancy Sue’s passions included gardening, fishing, and spending time outdoors at the Clarke Family Farm. Above all things, she loved to take care of her family. She especially cherished being an outstanding Nana to her grandchildren.
Nancy Sue is preceded in death by her father, Thomas W. Little, Sr., and her sister, Tina Kay Kirkham.
She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, David A. Clarke of New Winchester, her children, Riki (Bill) Harlos of Roachdale, James (Kristin) Clarke of Merriam, Kansas, Randi (Thomas) Levesque of Jamestown, and Michelle (Wade) Clark of Coatesville; her grandchildren Ian, Bryson, Brynnan, Andre, Dylan, Vivien, Ruby, Victoria, and Baby Clark; her mother, Judy Hall of Greencastle; her brothers Jim (Vicki) Little of Clayton and Tom (Peggy) Little of Fillmore.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00pm at Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11:00am at New Winchester Cemetery with Pastor Dan French officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
