Rev. Dr. Paul Keith Main, age 81, Greencastle, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away December 6, 2012 at Mill Pond Health Campus.
He was born in Greenfield, In on May 22, 1931 the son of Clarence B. and Ruth Elnora Shields Main. He was a 1949 graduate of Clayton High School, graduated from Hanover College, Louisville Presbyterian Seminary, and received his doctorate from Indiana University. He preached at several Presbyterian churches, worked in city planning for the City of Evansville, and retired from the Indiana State Board of Health. He also taught at IUPUI. Survivors: Son – Timothy K. Main, Indianapolis; Daughter – Michal J. Main, Grand Rapids, MI; Brother – Lyle B. Main, Portage, MI; Sister-in-law – Pat Main, Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his Parents, Brother – Kenneth P. Main, Sisters – Juanita R. Stanley and Rosemary Main. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Clayton Presbyterian Church with Rev. David McDonald officiating. Friends may gather from 12:00 PM until time of service. Inurnment was at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis Arrangements were entrusted to Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, IN.
