Rex Brown, age 83 passed away February 4, 2022 at his home in Reelsville. He was born on April 5, 1938 in Blackey, KY the son of Wayne and Phoebe (Sumner) Brown.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Rose (White) Brown; children Robin (Bob) DiRocco and Michael (Anne) Brown; grandchildren Dustin DiRocco and Kelly Brown; siblings Paul (Doris) Brown, Jeanette (Buck) Caudill, Roen (Billie) Brown, and Harold (Pearl) Brown; and Cora (Tooster) Halcomb, Helen (Jack) Lee, Donald (Jussineia) Brown, Joan Roberts Miller, Charlene (Tom) Drakos; many nieces and nephews; special caregiver Bianca Stinson;and his dog Muffin. Rex was preceded in death by his parents, brother Douglas Brown, sister Mildred Rodgers Cox, and brother-in-law Duane Miller.
Rex was very proud to be a 32 Degree Mason with the Scottish Rite. He worked at the Westinghouse Air Brake Company for 27 years. He also loved to garden, fish, and go ginseng hunting. Visitation will be from 10-1 Tuesday at the Bousley Funeral Home. There will be a Masonic service at 12:45 pm followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm.
