Ruby Nervene (Senters) Smith, 90, of Avon formerly Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Avon Health & Rehab, Avon, Indiana. She was born on December 15, 1935, in Bryants Store, Kentucky to the late Arthur & Virgie Senters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sawyer Smith; son Danny Smith; sister Faye Jasper; brothers Junior Senters, Howard Senters, and Earl Senters.

Survivors include her daughter Evaline (Larry) Anderson; grandsons Bryan and Brent Anderson; granddaughters Kelly Wiles and Heather Smith; and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Bousley Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6, 12 - 2 PM with funeral following at 2. Pastor Steve Ranson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Coatesville Cemetery.
