Thelma L. Cain, age 96, passed away Tuesday morning in the Countryside Meadows Nursing Facility in Avon. Born September 16, 1920 in Logan County, KY, she was the daughter of James Albert Belcher and Dovie (Scarbrough) Belcher. She married Jessie R. Cain and he preceded her. Thelma was a homemaker, factory worker at BHT and a waitress. She was a member of the Methodist Church and her hobbies were arts and crafts and quilting. Survivors includes 3 children, Helen Tipton (Fred), Indianapolis,; Bobby Westray, Scottsville, KY, and Ann Whitt (Bobby), Coatesville; a step son Ray Cain (Sylvia), Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Brenda Hendricks, Bowling Green, KY, Kenny Westray, Bowling Green, Teresa Westray, Nevada, Lisa Spencer, Shelbyville, KY, Robert Westray, Indianapolis, Marilyn Wehrman, Roachdale, Jeff Wilson, Brownsburg, and Brent Westray, Worthington; 13 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren; siblings, Mag Cline, Scottsville, KY, James Belcher, KY, J.T. Belcher, Brooks, KY, and Janice Hardison, Lewisburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, sons Tommy Westray and Kenneth Westray, daughter Brenda Westray, sisters Violet Goodman, Baetrice West and Hazel Christman, and a brother Jerry Belcher preceded her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 10 to 1 PM in the Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville. Services are at 1:00 PM with Elder Bobby Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
