Warren Alvin Johnson, age 72, of Avon, passed away September 11, 2013 in the Hendricks Regional Hospital. Born May 11, 1941 in Hendricks County, he was the son of Maurice Johnson and Mable (Swank) Johnson. He married Mildred Dawes and she preceded him in
death. Warren served in the Army. He was as electrician. He had worked and retired from Avon Community School System. He was a member of the Danville American Legion Post 118 and he enjoyed hunting.
Survivors includes a sister, Wanda Ragan, Crawfordsville; 2 nieces, Vickie Woodall and husband Kenneth, Coatesville, Rebecca Melton and husband Joseph, Bloomington; 4 nephews, Kevin Regan, Crawfordsville, Charles Ragan, Crawfordsville, Rusty Ragan, Ladoga,
and Chuck Johnson and wife Dena, FL; and several great nieces and nephews. His wife, parents and brother, Ronald Johnson preceded him. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 to 2 PM in the Bousley-Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville. Services are Tuesday
at 2 PM with Rev. David Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Cemetery. The Danville American Legion Post 118 will perform military rites at the cemetery. www.bousleyhaysfuneralhome.com
